Scott Heeley promoted to new role

Chubb Insurance Europe has appointed Scott Heeley to its international cargo operation, with immediate effect.

Heeley has been with Chubb for five years and previously worked as a UK retail cargo underwriter.

He will work alongside Joanne McWhirter and focus on building on the success that the international cargo team has enjoyed over the past few years.

Kevin Docherty, Chubb's European marine manager said: “Scott is a very welcome addition to our team of dedicated international specialists. His industry experience and in-depth knowledge of cargo insurance will be invaluable to our brokers and customers.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
