Chubb Europe has opened its first office in Norway and announced the appointment of Neil Myers as Chubb's first country manager for Norway.
Myers has lived in Norway for over eight years, prior to which he spent 15 years with a major international insurance broker in London.
Bjørn Petersen, responsible for Chubb's combined Danish and Norwegian operations said: "Opening an office in Norway is an important part of Chubb's long-term commitment to the existing and future client base in the Region and supplements our branches in Copenhagen and Stockholm."
The company said support for Chubb's business in Norway will continue to be provided from its Copenhagen office, with additional local recruitment taking place as the client base develops.
