Citymain launches games console insurance

Gadget insurer Citymain has launched a product to cover games consoles.

Protection against product failure can be provided through extended warranty programmes for new and used game consoles, as well as more comprehensive cover for theft, loss and accidental damage.

Programmes can be tailored to meet retailers' requirements and customised to the types of games consoles they sell.

Citymain provides all aspects of scheme administration, which can be white-labelled in the name of the retailer.

Citymain managing director Paul Kelsey said: “With our product, customers are offered peace of mind that their damaged or defective console can be fixed or replaced with a minimum of time and effort.”
