Expedite Resolution can help tackle industry employment spats
A mediation company has launched to focus on settling claims and insurance disputes.
Expedite Resolution is a group of 12 mediators with claims experience, founded by Maurice Nichols and Paul Taylor.
Expedite aims to negotiate and help settle disputes without both sides resorting to costly court cases, Taylor said.
The mediator could also help settle costly employment disputes coming from breaches of covenants, he added.
The firm surveyed the industry and found that 70% of respondents have used mediation but that 47% had trouble finding the right mediator.
“There was a call from the market for fresh faces that understand the market,” said Nichol. “We provide mediators that have been in the claims process and understand it.”
Expedite is based in Cumbria but operates across the country.
