Travel insurer Club Direct has designed a travel policy for golfers.
Single trips or annual policies are available. The cover includes foreign holidays or pre-booked holidays of two nights or more in the UK.
Golf equipment is covered up to £2,500 and, where illness or injury prevents a player from playing, there is a further £400 for the reimbursement of green and club fees. Personal effects and baggage are covered for up to £2,000. Up to £10m medical cover, with full repatriation and air ambulance facilities.
Comprehensive cover is provided for, among others, personal accident, additional hospital benefit, baggage, cash, lost passport, hijack, cancellation, delay and missed departure.
