Network confirms an end to discussions.

Cobra has announced that it has ended discussions with a potential buyer after the company received an approach last month.

In a statement to the London Stock Exchange, Cobra said: "On 4 July 2008 the board of COBRA Holdings announced that it had received an approach and was in discussions which may lead for an offer for the whole of the issued and to be issued share capital of the Company.

"The Company announces that the offer discussions, which were the subject of this announcement, have been terminated and that the Company is not in discussions with any other party regarding a potential offer for the Company. Accordingly, the Company is no longer in an Offer Period for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers."
