Software house Logica has announced a new five-year extension to its applications outsourcing contract with Polaris UK.
The £8m contract will include the upgrading of Polaris products designed for ecommerce applications, as well as a joint development on the improvement of ebusiness strategy.
Polaris UK, which is owned by brokers and intermediaries, specialises in computer software designed to facilitate the electronic sale of insurance products.
It is hoped that the software will soon become equally compatible with WAP.
