After being spotted in the city by numerous ex-colleagues over the past 18 months, former Independent Insurance deputy managing director Phil Condon has finally re-emerged.
Centor Insurance and Risk Management chairman David Stratton confirmed he had signed Condon up as a consultant.
Condon was taken on "not long ago" to consult on sales management in Centor's new business division.
Centor recently bought 100% of the shares in Peter Ruddy and Partners (Insurance Brokers).
Centor is expected to make a number of acquisitions in the coming year and is said to already be in serious talks with a firm of cargo assessors.
