Contractsure, the sister company of Henderson Insurance Brokers (HIBL), has expanded its broking team in London with the recruitment of former Glencairn and Alexander Forbes staff.

Richard Carroll, previously from Alexander Forbes has been appointed managing director. Colleague Rob Cottingham heads up the newly established professional indemnity and financial risks division, together with other new employees Marcus Porter Wright and Fiorella Tarsey, both formerly with Glencairn.

Contractsure said the appointments, teamed with further recruitment, will double the size of the Lloyd's accredited brokerage within the next 18 months. It also said that two extra appointments, both from Alexander Forbes, would be announced in due course.

Chief executive Joe Henderson, said: "Contractsure has already grown significantly, since it was established in 2003...and...demand for the company's services has increased substantially."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
