Congratulations to Joanna Caparn, the new chief executive of Aon Risk Services' personal and group programmes, who Backchat hears is expecting the pitter patter of tiny feet.
Caparn joined Aon in March to head up the personal and group programmes division. She took over running the business in June from former divisional chief executive Peter Friend.
But with Friend currently "winding down" his involvement, according to sources, ahead of retirement at the end of the year, Backchat wonders who will fill the hot seat when Caparn's maternity leave begins in December.
In a statement, Aon said: "Business will continue as usual and appropriate plans will be put in place for Joanna's temporary leave of absence in due course."
