This means they will automatically receive cover up to £100,00, and will also benefit from a range of increased limits and covers.

The Home Cyber feature will provide cover for all connected home devices, such as PCs, tablets and Laptops, and losses from cyber-crime and identity theft, cyber liability and cyber bullying.

After speaking with its brokers, Covéa identified an increased demand for specific cyber cover for the home in response to the massive damages that could arise as result of a cyber-attack.

National underwriting manager, Alison Colver said: “HNW customers are early adopters of connected technologies. But with their vast financial resources, are fast becoming a target for cyber criminals.

“We have developed a product in response that is designed to fully meet these emerging challenges and ensure that, if the worst does happen, we’ll be ready to help put it right quickly for the customer.”
