The CPP Group is opening a customer contact centre in Tamworth which will create 400 jobs for the area.
The group already employs more than 1000 staff. It has UK offices in London, Leeds, York, Banbury and Northampton.
It provides a variety of products to its customers, including a Card Protection Plan for credit cards, KeyCover for lost or stolen keys and Travel Assist, broad travel cover.
The centre is due to open in June 2002. Recruitment for the new centre starts this month.
