Crawford & Company today announced two new executive appointments within its UK technical services division.
Nick Michell has been named as head of technical services and Sarah Civil as technical services operations manager.
Mitchell was formerly head of relationship management at Norwich Union while Civil has been with the Crawford group for 27 years.
The appointments are part of a wider drive to tap into the high-value, complex claims sector, the company said.
The pair will oversee the firm's growth into major claims areas including international property, international casualty (liability), energy (petrochemicals, oil refineries, and power generation), international construction & engineering, and corporate & major incidents.
