While Capita chief Paul Pindar watches financial woes crush his beloved Leeds United, Crawford managing director Ian Muress is cheering Newcastle United all the way to the top.

In an internal newsletter, Crawford staff dubbed Ian Muress as the new Sir Bobby Robson, following the resurrection of the sleeping dinosaurs of Newcastle United.

A cheerful Muress said: "Fate has sealed the loving fortunes of our respected clubs and companies."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
