Backchat was told that Towergate executive chairman Peter Cullum has finally taken a holiday in South Africa.
But that does not mean he is out of touch with the office.
A Towergate source said: "Peter has found a tree out in the veldt which he climbs each day to get reception on his phone. He then calls in to check up on us."
