DAS Legal Expenses is to review its ATE policy as it announced that its gross written premium from the ATE market has passed £10m for the first time.

A spokesman for the company said the review was part of a "constant programme".

"There are a lot of test cases going through at the moment and we will let these go through before making any major changes," he said.

"We will have finalised the review by the end of the year."

Total income for 2004 rose 19% from £88.9m to £105.6m. Some 90% of the group's income comes from the before-the-event market, said DAS.
