Metropolitan Police Authority has £5m of riot claims to deal with
Davies Group and Charles Taylor Adjusting are the loss adjusters helping the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) settle claims from the recent London rioting.
The loss adjusters will help the MPA handle complicated or expensive claims.
The MPA received £5m of claims from the rioting. Insurers can get compensation from police authorities for riot claims under the Riot Damages Act, however insurers are unlikely to recover the full amount that they have paid out.
