Webb to hold similar role at loss adjuster

Loss adjusting firm Davies Group has hired Andy Webb as its chief operating officer.

Webb had a similar role at insurer Legal & General, where he was responsible for managing the operations of its general insurance business.

He has also previously worked at Churchill.

Davies group chief executive Charles Crawford said: “It has been our aim to bring our key operational areas closer and appoint a single leader, we are therefore delighted that Andy has agreed to join us.

“I want to create better cohesion, an improved customer journey and to manage our teams as efficiently as possible, providing ‘best in class service delivery’ which is what we want to be known for. We spent a long time searching for the right person and in Andy I truly believe we have find someone who will bring positive change and direction to our combined operational team. I am very much looking forward to working with him”.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
