Davies Chartered Loss Adjusters (DCLA),has appointed Iain MacLean, former UK chief engineer with Crawford and Company Adjusters, as head of subsidence, managing the business's new subsidence division.

MacLean's role with DCLA will be to build the division by recruiting a team of subsidence experts to be based in a variety of locations across the UK.

David Ede, a senior partner at DCLA, said: “Iain's track record and achievements speak for themselves. He's the ideal candidate to build this major new part of our business and we're thrilled to have him with us.

“Our aim is to create a subsidence division founded on the principles that Davies has built its reputation on – high quality customer service, strong relationships and genuine expertise.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
