Turner and Hemsley join loss adjuster as business development managers
Loss adjuster Davies Group has swooped for Merlin Claims Services’ Matt Turner and Gary Hemsley as business development managers.
Both managed their own claims services and loss adjusting divisions at Merlin. Merlin went into administration last month with the loss of more than 200 jobs.
In their new roles, they will manage relationships for existing clients as well as developing new business. Both will report to Davies’ director of markets Darren Coombes.
Coombes said: “Matt and Gary have worked together for some time now and have shown that, when their individual characters are combined, they make for a very strong team. We see the benefits of this to Davies as twofold.
“From a strategic perspective, they have a proven track record for developing excellent, long-term client relationships and with their operational backgrounds, they can then help us improve even further our strong foundation of service delivery.”
