Backchat has been informed of a rather devious claim received by Zurich Municipal.
One night last year a woman awoke to the noise of men digging up the street outside her home.
A few days later she noticed the same two men taking photos of a crater in the pavement.
Guess what happened next? The local authority received a claim for personal injury as a result of a "pathway defect".
Fortunately the community-minded witness helped Zurich to disprove the claim.
