Underwriting agency Goodfellows has launched DisabilitySAFE, a product that provides individuals or businesses with cover against the consequences of disability.
The policy was underwritten by a panel of insurers and Lloyd's.
DisabilitySAFE has three main components – accidental death and/or accidental loss of limbs, eyes, speech or hearing; income protection; permanent disability.
Other features are income protection to 100% of salary, key person protection to 100% of profit. Professionals can also claim for lost of chargeable hours and full cover is provided for the self-employed.
Commission of up to 20% is available to intermediaries.
