City law firm Kennedys is revamping its approach to general liability work with the launch of a new liability division.
The new unit is designed to bring greater flexibility and responsiveness to insurance clients at a time when many are reviewing their legal service needs.
Kennedys said the liability unit would enable it to resolve all types of casualty claims promptly, efficiently and at a competitive rate.
“The unit will focus on both fast-track claims [those under £15,000] and multi-track claims and not just specialist liability work,” said Tim Wilson, head of the liability unit.
The unit will be based at Kennedys' London office and consist of eight partners and teams with expertise in employer's liability, motor, health and safety and civil litigation against the police.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
