While Gibraltar continues to be a popular destination for cruise lines and general insurance companies alike, it seems that rumours of the Rock being the money laundering capital of Europe could be true, following the widely reported case of the massive failed drugs sting by UK police this week.

While the police failed to nail the drug smugglers in the ten-year, £25m sting, I'm sure the anti-Gibraltar sect in UK insurance world will not let the case go without comment in the conference bars this year.

After all, they've always known that Gibraltar was a bit fishy, haven't they?
