15th purchase of the year revealed
Representing its 15th regional purchase so far this year, Equity has acquired Cleethorpes broker, Martin Anderson Insurance Consultants.
The business was founded in the mid-1980s by Martin Anderson. He and all 12 existing employees will continue administering its book, split equally between personal lines and commercial clients.
Mike Hutton, Equity's acquisition director said: "Martin Anderson is another successful business fitting the group's acquisition criteria. The brokerage has been built organically and the majority of its clients are based within a 15 mile radius; strategic for Equity as Lincolnshire is a region where we continue to seek similar opportunities."
