Windstorm Erwin which battered parts of northern Europe last week could cost Munich Re as much as the Asian tsunami, reports said.

The reinsurer reportedly said that it anticipated costs from the storms would be between €50m and €100m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
