Richard Tomlinson, Percayso

Explain briefly about your entry in the Business Partner of the Year – Technology Supplier category

Our goal is to help insurance providers get more out of their data. To do that, we believe in creating true partnerships, aligning ourselves with each individual client’s objectives.

Like many motor insurers, Somerset Bridge was finding it challenging to harness their wealth of data to determine potential fraudulent activity, identify if a risk was right for their business and control pricing.

To help them realise the power of their quote data, we built a low-code quote manipulation solution which has given them control over their quote manipulation strategies, including rating and rule sets, enabling a quick response to changing market or business conditions.

What do you think makes your entry stand out?

The opportunity to collaborate with Somerset Bridge led us to conduct a detailed analysis of the obstacles and issues that insurance providers face to create our quote manipulation solution and low-code tool.

The ongoing collaboration has enabled us to refine this further and ultimately given us the scope to further expand our quote intelligence solution for the entire market with the blessing of Somerset Bridge. That’s a true business partnership in action.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Collectively, we have built something that is truly market leading. Winning this award would mean the world to us and would be confirmation that taking an honest and transparent client-centric approach is the way to do business.
