Halifax's new insurance ventures in Ireland received a boost this week when the company appointed new finance director Breda O'Keeffe.
The two new Irish operations will be called Halifax Insurance Ireland and Halifax Assurance Ireland. Both are repayments insurance ventures, which will take control of product design, pricing, risk management and customer services for all of Halifax's repayments insurance portfolios.
O'Keeffe has joined the board of both companies and is an executive director. Previously, she was with GE Insurance in Shannon and before that she worked for Jetphone, GE Capital Aviation and Ernst & Young.
