Groupama Personal Insurances has launched a repairer development programme in conjunction with refinish company ICI Autcolor.

The main aim of the partnership is to enhance customer service and the efficiency of the company's repair network.

Members of ICI Autocolor's 130-strong field staff will visit Groupama's partnership retailers and work with managers to identify areas for improvement.

ICI Autocolor is also running training programmes on bodyshop operations and paint processes for Groupama claims staff.

Groupama claims services manager, Steve Crowe, said: "This initiative will empower repairers to provide a higher level of service to Groupama policyholders and will also allow them to improve their business practices, leading to improved long-term profitability."
