Terrorism war or natural disaster pays out £650m

Fifa, football's governing body has insured this year's World Cup in South Africa for $650m in the event of the tournament being postponed because of terrorism, war or natural disaster, the FT reports.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
