Domestic claims will reach £825m, says CILA

The cost to the insurers of the recent UK floods will be £1.5bn, according to the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.

CILA estimates that domestic claims will reach £825m, while those from businesses will add up to £680m.

Last week the ABI predicted the cost of the flooding would be £1bn.
