Allegations that IT firm Misys unfairly dismissed a woman who was suffering from secondary cancer led to an industrial tribunal needing more time to consider the case.

Former manager Liz Zatriqi had expected a ruling after two days of hearings last week.

The Birmingham tribunal is now due to deliver its verdict in November although it could be a further month before Zatriqi is informed.

She expects to be receiving chemotherapy treatment in January, when the tribunal may set a remedy.
Zatriqi said: "I was really disappointed, I thought it was going to be the end after two days.

"But I'm definitely going to see it through. If I have to go with a drip in my arm I will be there."

Misys denies the allegations.
