Jeremy Riley has joined Distinct Consulting

Former RSA chief executive Jeremy Riley has become managing partner of Distinct Consulting.

Riley will join the new London office and will support Distinct’s ambitious growth plans in the UK and international insurance sectors.

During his time with RSA, he led successful business turnarounds; bought and sold businesses globally – most recently as international CFO and regional chief executive Latin America.

Since leaving RSA in 2008, Riley has focused on the private equity market, where he has assessed and evaluated a range of potential acquisitions.

Riley said: “Distinct is a hands-on, results-orientated management consultancy with insurance specific expertise. With insurance businesses facing unprecedented pressures at the moment the input from independent experts with a proven track record will be invaluable.

“Distinct provides support for insurance businesses across the spectrum. Where companies need support with operational effectiveness, portfolio management, risk management, customer management and claims or fraud analytics Distinct have already assisted a range of clients with these and a whole host of other industry issues.”

He concluded: “I am delighted to be joining Distinct in what are extraordinary times to help businesses address the issues they are facing and to provide tangible solutions to business problems.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
