Tokio Marine Europe adds heavyweight non-exec director

Tokio Marine Europe has appointed Richard Bucknall as non-executive director.

Bucknall was group vice chairman at Willis Group between 2004 and 2007 and chairman/chief executive of Willis Limited from 1999 to March 2007.

He is currently a non-executive director of Aspen Insurance Holdings and non-executive chairman of Ins-Sure.

Tokio Marine Europe chief executive Tadaharu Uehara said he was "delighted" to welcome Bucknall, adding that his guidance would be "invaluable" in helping grow the European business.
