Aviva claims handlers in Exeter call centre at centre of case

Claire Williams, 23, of Arena Park, admitted a charge of concealing the proceeds of crime at Exeter Crown Court yesterday afternoon in a case involving then-named Norwich Union, now Aviva, claims handlers, the Exeter Echo reports.

Williams is one of four defendants on trial for allegedly plotting to make false payments for insurance repairs into bank accounts.

Nicola Curry, 42, of Hamlin Gardens, Whipton, who the jury heard has pleaded guilty to two charges, and Linda Drake, 45, of Arena Park, are accused of using their roles as claim handlers at an Aviva call centre, in Pynes Hill.
