The FSA today invited interested parties to help shape views on its Enforcement Process Review.
The regulator issued a paper that sets out its objectives for the decision-making process within the FSA. These are, broadly, that the process be fair and seen to be fair and be efficient and effective.
According to the regulator, current legislation is sufficiently flexible to allow feedback from industry to be incorporated into the final review.
David Strachan, who is leading the review, said: “Getting feedback is clearly an essential component of the review.”
