Brokers complaining about the £1,000 the FSA intends to charge for its list of brokers who will be authorised from 14 January 2005 should be grateful.

Backchat has learned that the FSA, which will provide the list in CD-based instalments from November, had originally wanted to hit the industry up for £8,000 per copy. Another example of gold plating?

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
