The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has declared 38 firms in default, clearing the way for consumers to claims compensation from the fund.

Included on the list is: Mr TDB Walton and Ms HA Walton, formerly trading as AAC Mortgage and Insurance Consultants in Leicester; Mr RS Webb, formerly RS Webb Insurances in Southport; Renfrew Insurance Agents, formerly Renfrew Insurance Brokers in Renfrew and Helm Insurance Brokers, formerly Helm Insurance Consultants in Feltham.
