Leading exhibition and conference insurers Insurex Expo-Sure is facing total claims of up to £750,000 as a result of the fuel crisis.

Exhibition visitors have stayed away and events such as antiques fairs have been hit hard as sellers and buyers were unable to attend.

Companies without insurance have been trying to get cover for losses due to the crisis, but Insurex Expo-Sure said it is likely to be November or December before new policies covering fuel problems could be considered.

Cover can be arranged for cancellation of an event and reduced attendances.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
