Brian Joyce heads up new squad
Towergate-owned MGA Fusion Insurance has taken a team of engineering underwriters and other staff from Aviva.
The new team consists of Brian Joyce, Shona Bruce, Melissa Bailey, Katrina Bailey and David Cracknell, who will be based across a number of offices including Glasgow, London and Birmingham.
Brian Joyce will lead the team and report into Fusion managing director Nick Wright.
Joyce said: “My team are really delighted to be joining a dynamic organisation which can clearly see an opportunity to develop a quality and service-led offering in the engineering marketplace.”
Wright said: “These five exceptional signings will strengthen and complement our teams across the regions. Brian and his team bring a vast amount of experience and expertise to Fusion and are the perfect people to support us in continuing to develop our proposition to our broker panel.”
In a statement, Fusion said it wanted to unveil more products and recruit more staff over the coming months.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
