GAB Robins' construction team helped engineers win a race against time to have the 115ft high Falkirk Wheel ready for the Queen's Jubilee tour.

The engineers battled to finalise repairs to the wheel after vandals damaged it.

The £17.5m wheel is set to become one of Scotland's most popular tourist attractions, with 150,000 visitors expected this year.

It connects the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals by using a rotating capsule to take boats from the upper to the lower level of the waterways, creating a coast-to-coast sailing route for the first time in 70 years.
