Alain Page-Lecuyer joins AXA as chief procurement officer.

He has been procurement officer for such firms as Alcatel, Sagem and Renault.

Peter Hill Insurance Group

Peter Hill Insurance Group has appointed Steve Toner as a director of the main board.

He has been at the group as account manager for two years and has 25 years' industry experience.

He is president of the Bedford and Milton Keynes Chartered Insurance Institute.

Fortis Insurance
Fortis Insurance has appointed Paul Chaplain as its new personal lines underwriting director.

He joins from National Insurance and Guarantee Corporation where he held the position of managing director at Finsure Premium Finance.

Zurich Private Clients
Zurich Private Clients (ZPC) has recruited three new client managers.

Kris Coombes, Sophie Stanford-Davis and Lee Chapman have been appointed as client managers for Zurich Private Clients, reporting direct to Nick Brabham and Martin Hall, underwriting development managers for the ZPC team.

Coombes joins from Chubb Insurance, where he worked for four years and prior to that was with Nordstern, handling its fine art account.

Chapman joins from Ecclesiastical Insurance Group where he spent 15 years as the surveyor of churches, cathedrals and other listed buildings. He will focus on the South West region.

Stanford-Davis also joins from Chubb Insurance where she worked as a client manager. She will cover the company's northern region.

Endurance Specialty Insurance
Endurance Specialty Insurance has appointed Judy Hart as executive vice president, hospital liability operations.

She joins Endurance from Employers Reinsurance Corporation (ERC), where she was vice president, marketing leader healthcare segment.

Prior to that, Hart spent 28 years at Alexander & Alexander, where she was managing director.

BROKERS
Alec Finch Group
The Alec Finch Group has appointed Martin Robinson as its first non-executive director. He was formerly the chief executive of regional stockbroker Henry Cooke.

He is also non-executive director of Brown Shipley & Co.

McParland Finn
Nigel Musson has been appointed to a business development role. He has 35 years' industry experience and has fulfilled a variety of insurance company assignments principally in the North of England.

Jenny Dutton is appointed to a business development role in the professional services department, which specialises in professional indemnity and related subjects.

CJ Coleman
Lloyd's broker CJ Coleman has appointed Reg Brown as non-executive director. He is a former Lloyd's underwriter and is a past president of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Aon
Brenda Bates joins Aon as head of corporate affairs. She joins from Gavin Anderson & Company where she was managing director.

Allen & Allen
Allen & Allen has for the first time appointed a Sunday manager, Suna Bull, in response to increased customer demand. Bull has been working for Allen & Allen since December 1998 when he joined the sales support team.

LHR Insurance Brokers
Chris Braysher has joined Kent broker LHR Insurance Brokers to spearhead its acquisition programme.

He joins from AXA after more than 30 years working at the Provincial and its sucessors.

LEGAL
James Chapman & Co
James Chapman & Co has appointed five new partners. Nick Thorne trained with James Chapman. Andrew O'Connell trained with Kershaw Tudor and joined James Chapman after qualifying. Paula Whittell joined the firm in 2000 from Hempsons. Chris Murray was a partner as Lyons Wilson before joining in 1999. Andrew Kerr joined the firm in 1997 from Mace & Jones.

Cunningham Lindsey
Lawrence Davison has joined Cunningham Lindsey UK as director of the Leeds and Solent service centres. He has more than 32 years' loss adjusting experience gained at GAB Robins, where he was director with operational responsibility for personal lines in the North.

GAB Robins
Heather McMillan has been appointed a senior liability adjuster for GAB Robins in Belfast. She has experience in employers' liability, public liability and motor injury claims

Xchanging
Xchanging is expanding its insurance services business development team with two new appointments. Dave Garratt joins as business development manager. He brings experience of both Lloyd's and the London Company Market from his previous position with the SVB Group and Hiscox. He also spent ten years working in the London Company Market.

Richard Stace will be working alongside Garratt as part of the business development team. Previously, he spent four years as a reinsurance broker.

Alexander Lloyd
Alexander Lloyd has appointed Richard Hughes and Paul Butler as insurance consultants and Gillon Tadman as a fast track trainee in the accountancy division.
