Healthcare insurer BCWA is now offering private medical insurance package to the people of Guernsey following its success in Jersey.
The plan will be available from Guernsey based Rossborough Healthcare International.
Based on BCWA Healthcare's Preferential plan, it includes comprehensive private medical cover, GP fees, dental and optical benefits.
Dental charges cover up to a maximum of £160 per annum, including check-ups and treatment. Optical cover is up to a maximum of £140 per annum and includes sight tests. GP fees are fully covered on a full refund basis with no annual limit to the benefit.
"Contribution rates are based on the age of people at enrolment. Our non-profit making status means we do not have to pay dividends to shareholders and we can keep a consistent competitive edge to our product premiums," said Philip Fowles sales and marketing director of BCWA Healthcare.
