Insurer pilots thermographic diagnostics
Chubb has become the first insurer in the UK to introduce thermographic diagnostics for its ultra high net worth clients. Three senior appraisers at Chubb – Stephen Wilkinson, Nicola Amis and Ben Tait – have all recently passed the level 1 infrared thermography certification course. The equipment enables the insurer to offer an enhanced service identifying leaking pipes, construction faults and electrical leakage, as well as damp and mildew.
