Richard Cowling returns to broker

Richard Cowling has re-joined Heath Lambert as Chairman for the Group’s Real Estate Division.

Cowling brings with him almost two decades of experience in the sector, previously having led the property divisions of both Willis and Aon. Most recently, he served as director of Forensic Insurance Services at KPMG.

In a statement the company said that Cowling's appointment was a significant step in the strategic development of an already successful team.

Adrian Colosso, Group chief executive for Heath Lambert Group, said: "As a business we are proud of our ability to attract and retain the best talent in the market and so it is very pleasing to welcome Richard back to the team.

"He spent twenty years with the Group between 1978 and 1998 and his pedigree speaks for itself. He is an all-rounder with significant experience in what clients need and look for from their broker and in how to achieve the best possible result for those clients.

"We believe that Richard’s knowledge of the market will help us to strengthen our position and take us into new areas and opportunities, which we can explore and capitalise on."

Cowling added: "Having worked with the Group before, I have taken great interest in its successes over the years, so I am delighted to be returning and to assume my role as Chairman of the Real Estate division.

"It is an exciting time to join the team and I am looking forward to working in an environment that so actively encourages staff to participate and make decisions that will build on the future success of their business."
