Division to focus on commercial affinities and small business.
Insurance broker Heath Lambert Group has launched a specialist division, Heath Lambert Commercial Affinity and Select Business, to focus on the group's activities in the areas of commercial affinities and small business.
Adrian Colosso, chief executive officer for Heath Lambert Group, said: “I am particularly pleased to be able to announce the establishment of the Commercial Affinity and Select Business division. It builds on our already successful affinity operation and small business unit, and represents the next stage in our strategy to be a major multi-channelled UK retail insurance broker.”
Mike Owen, who is moving on from his group marketing director role to head up the new division, added: “We will be bringing together sales, marketing, operations and business plus product development functions into one integrated team. This will enable us to adopt a focussed, consistent and coordinated approach to the development of our commercial affinity, small business, schemes and facilities. With a unified team we feel confident that we can capitalise on the enormous opportunities open to us.”
Heath Lambert said it had previous success in these areas but the activity was managed through a number of divisions. The company believes that by combining the skills and expertise into one division, it will be able to extend the reach of its solutions and work more effectively in meeting and anticipating client needs.
