Helphire has streamlined its repairer network to 350 appointed bodyshops nationwide

The non-fault accident management group confirmed it would not stop customers going to a repairer of their choice, but would now make referrals to a limited number of bodyshops.

Helphire repair network manager Nick Litchfield said: "In order to meet increasing levels of customer demand we want to ensure bodyshops have the necessary facilities to repair our customers' vehicles to a high standard.

"This has already significantly reduced the number of repair complaints we receive and substantially increased repair volumes for participating bodyshops."

Helphire is also wants bodyshops that sign up to its 'credit repair agreement' to refer all non-fault cases to the Helphire scheme.
