Heritage Underwriting Agency has seen its lead underwriter resign suddenly, according to reports.
Les Rock, a leading London market property underwriter, resigned from the insurer this week, due to retirement.
Rock, who began underwriting at Heritage in 2002 is regarded as integral to the insurer's underwriting operations.
His Syndicate 1200 closed its 2003 account earlier this year with a 28% return on capital – one of the best performing Lloyd's syndicates.
