One pensioner claimed for false teeth lost while vomiting over the side of a cruise ship. The dentures were covered under “lost baggage”.
A couple travelling in Malaysia successfully claimed after a monkey climbed into their chalet through an open window and tossed their clothes around the resort and the neighbouring rainforest.
In another, one hungry traveller claimed to have lost £300 of Bombay mix, the spicy snack. At about 89p for a 250g bag, the misplaced mix would have weighed 84kg, according to the Times Online.
His insurer rejected the claim.
