Sandra Inglis to oversee North East, Scotland and Northern Ireland
Broker-only insurer Highway Insurance has appointed Sandra Inglis as Regional Account Manager to cover Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north-east of England.
Inglis will be responsible for developing broker relationships and working with the underwriting teams to grow the motor and home business in these areas.
Commenting on the appointment Highway’s sales and marketing director, Michael Lawrence said: “Sandra’s in-depth knowledge of the insurance market, and particularly her own broking experience, leaves her ideally placed to understand broker needs and work closely with them to build profitable relationships with Highway.”
Sandra has 19 years experience within the insurance broker market. Her most recent position was area manager for broker Nelson Jordan & Co. where her responsibilities included developing insurer relationships, FSA compliance, negotiation of new schemes with insurers and the management & training of staff.
